On one of EWB-NEU's first trips to the area ACTS introduced the team to Carlos. Carlos contracted Polio as a child and can no longer use his legs. ACTS hopes to find a way for him to be a more integral part of society.There main goal is for Carlos to be able to get on and off a horse without assistance

Members of EWB-NEU have formed a committee to investigate this project. There is a preliminary design the students are working on. The next phase of the project is to protype and test at a horse farm in Connecticut.
