Committees

Design:

This committee is composed of a variety of engineering students who meet regularly to use the data collected by the travel team to design a feasible and sustainable solution. After the initial design is complete Dan Saulnier the EWB-NEU professional mentor reviews the students’ work before it is submitted for review by the EWB-USA Technical Advisor Committee.

Cultural and Education:

The Cultural and Education committee works to educate members of the Northeastern community about the goals of EWB. In addition to this the committee also creates materials to bring to the local villages.

Local Outreach:

Many of the students in EWB-NEU are very active in their community. This committee has helped organize service events.

Public Relations:

This committee works closely with the Cultural and Education Committee to raise awareness of EWB’s mission.

Fundraising:

The projects EWB-NEU works on are funded solely through donations. This committee raises financial and material support for these projects.
